I am interested in research questions pertaining to the macroinvertebrates of Sarawak with the focus on fundamental aspects, including taxonomy and systematics, community ecology, use of macroinvertebrates as bio-indicators, and conservation assessment.
My field of expertise includes Natural Resource (Forestry), Forest Economics and Forestry Science.
My research interest is in documenting the distribution and abundance of wildlife in disturbed and undisturbed habitats and investigating the factors that determine them. This research has been conducted in Malaysian peat swamp, lowland and hill forests.
My current research interests include herpetological systematics, community ecology, conservation biology, biogeography, and the history of natural history.
